3.06GHz Pentium 4 Processer

Is this processer any good for running games like Obvlivion, Half Life 2 and STALKER? I was looking on the internet and its very expensive to get one like it, but mine came standard. So is it good?3.06GHz Pentium 4 Processer
it will run HL2 decently but it wont run Oblivion or Stalker that well because you should really be using a dual core for those game, nah its because they cost quite a bit to make still and they must still wont quite a bit of return.3.06GHz Pentium 4 Processer
it should play HL2 fine but will struggle with Stalker
Stalker not too good.... Oblivion will run fine thats not a very cpu intensive game.
i have a 3.0GHZ Pentium 4 processer with HP tech and i can tell you that it can run all the games up to date CPU wise, except cell factor :P but u need a physic card for that lol. but i bought this like a year and half ago if u are buying a new comp u should buy a dual core.
i have a 3.2 p4 cpu.  and i can run hl2 great!  but when it came to stalker it struggled to keep up with the game
If all your other hardware is good, then that processor is good, too. I could play HL2 with my P4(1.7GHz) just fine.
That processor%26#39;s fine for most gaming. The 533MHz bus is gonna hurt performance compared to the 800MHz bus of the newer P4s, but when paired with a good video card, it%26#39;ll last a couple more years before really needing replacement.

[/QUOTE]:lol:Good luck with Supreme Commander and Command and Conquer 3. Not even a Pentium D could keep up with those two games (especially Sup Com).  That CPU will run HL2 fine, but you%26#39;ll need more beef to keep up with Oblivion or Stalker.
