Can you put a graphics card in a laptop?

I really dont know. It might be a stupid question for some, but can you?Can you put a graphics card in a laptop?
Until recently, no.  But ASUS and some other company whose name I can%26#39;t remember have made external card enclosures that you can plug into your laptop%26#39;s express slot.  ASUS%26#39; solution requires you to have an external monitor (and keyboard and mouser, I believe).  It basically just uses your laptops RAM,  power supply, and processor.  The other company%26#39;s enclosure lets you use your laptop%26#39;s screen, mouse and keyboard.  Try googleing it. Can you put a graphics card in a laptop?
for the price and have to use it on a desk you might as well invest in a desktop that can be upgraded as new stuff becomes available.  laptops for games is kind of tricky because you either have to spend $4000 every two years to keep up or just buy a desktop and upgrade

Asus XG Station isn%26#39;t out yet.
You can upgrade a laptop as long as it can take mxm cards have a look at mxm upgrade or something   i upgraded my fujitsu siemens amilo from an ati x700  to a nvidia geforce 7900gs and it really was not that hard to install.
