Games are jumpy...

I dont know if yal can help me with this because I cant figure out whats going on and Im quite good with hardware/pcproblems. All my games have some weird like timed lag. Every 5-10secs Ill hit some lag spike where for a split second I dont have control over anything. It doesnt seem to affect my gameplay much, but it gets quite annoying reloading twice in FPS games or having to move my cursor to the target twice. Its quite hard to explain exactly what happens. I can give you an example, but the same applys for most of my games. In bf2/bf2142, I will consistantly get some sort of lag every 10secs (since its common in all my games and consistant, I dont believe its my internet connection). In this lag, which lasts about .5 sec, it shows me exactly what Im telling it to do, but once the lag ends it reverts back to where I was (ignores all the commands I gave it in the .5sec, and reverts me back to where I was). I first started off believing it was some form of video lag (Also when Im using fraps it stays at about 60fps, but when lag hits it drops down for a split second then comes back up), but that wouldnt make sense because it wouldnt show me what I was doing then revert back to what I did before that. I believe it is something wrong with my OS or how it takes commands, but I cant track it down or find any help on google because its so hard to explain in 2-3words. Any tips/help is appreciated. Games are jumpy...
Nope that sounds like Internet lag to me. How much Ping are you getting?Games are jumpy...

I had that problem the other week when I moved the cross hairs onto a target they would jump. I figured out for some overclocking my CPU callused this I just set my CPU speed to automatic and it works fine now

Ill turn it down for awhile and see if it changes (GPU is voltmodded so that will be hard to do XD)
