I would really like to start making music on my PC. Is there a PC counterpart for MAC%26#39;s garage band? any music-making / recording software you%26#39;d recommend? What other software / hardware would I need? I know this may not be the right forum, but there isn%26#39;t any ''PC Software Forum'' here on GS, but I apologize in any case. First off, ''Mac'' isn%26#39;t an accronym. It%26#39;s short for Macintosh, unless you%26#39;re using it to mean ''More Awesome Computer''. Anyway, try Fruity Loops. It doesn%26#39;t really work anything like Garage Band does but it%26#39;s a pretty cool program. There%26#39;s a Trial on their webiste if you want check it out. Just google %26#39;FL Studio%26#39;.
