Lately I%26#39;ve been wasting hours trying to update my windows as a result of an error I got while trying to play C%26C3:Tiberium Wars (the computer always restarted).
I got a advise to upgrate my windows however it seems that I don%26#39;t have a ''Genuine'' Microsoft software :P. So I got an another suspicious looking windows setup disk  (don%26#39;t sue me for saving some money) This time every thing went my way untill I had to boot from the CD and THE blue screen appeared, then again and again: ''A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you%26#39;ve seen this stop screen, restart your computer.
If this screen appears again, follow these steps:Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed drive contollers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then resart your computer.Techincial information:
***STOP: 0x0000007B(0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)''And of course I tried all the above things but nothing works, so what sould I do now?!Isn't windows lovely (windows problem)
One of the main reasons for that error is due to ''Windows lost access to the system partition or boot volume during the startup process'', now that%26#39;s indicative of one possibility, it may be that your recovery console is not using the correct hard disk controller for your system. Try to reinstall your hdd controller drivers, go to the Device Manager, go and find ''IDE ATA/ATAPI controller'' and reinstall that. Hope that helps.Isn't windows lovely (windows problem)
