sorry... also a asus am2 m2n-e motherboardnot enough power.. usb keep's cutting in and out
I installed one of these which made my system completely stable. It's also 8800GTS SLi certified.
From what you%26#39;ve told us, it would seem that your current power supply is underpowered for what you have in your box. You should have a 600W ( or higher ) main power supply.   As BounceDK has suggested, having that dedicated secondary supply for your SLi videocards is another option rather than replacing your 500W.
Could a secondary power supply ,like the one suggested, be used on a dell E521 computer?
Moved to correct forum section :)
Was it always possible to move threads from board to board or is this a new feature? :shock:For TC... my system is similar to yours and I%26#39;m running a 500W PSU... so does that mean I%26#39;ll have to switch to a 550 or 600W PSU to keep my USB powered devices from cutting out? :(
