64 X2 vs C2D?

I%26#39;m planning on buying a new PC from either CyberPowerPC or IBuyPower (building them isn%26#39;t quite my thing), and I was wondering about the processor. I%26#39;d either be going with an Athlon 64 X2 6000+, or an E6400 Core2Duo (2.13 Ghz). Which would be the better choice here? According to these benchmarks, it seems that the Athlon is beating out the C2D. However, pretty much everything I%26#39;ve read suggests that the C2D is far superior to the 64 X2%26#39;s.The final price of the system will be the same regardless of which processor I choose (a $4 difference), and the rest of the system is as follows:(CPU)7600GT2GB RAM~420W PSU (may switch to 500W) Since price isn%26#39;t an issue, and I will definitely NOT be overclocking, which would you suggest? 64 X2 vs C2D?
Get the 6000+, since you're not overclocking.64 X2 vs C2D?
for the price of the AMD 64 X2 6000+, you can get a C2D E6600. BTW, dont buy a prebuilt computer for gaming
you they give you a chose of E6600 or E6420
If you%26#39;re going to spring for a 6000+, I%26#39;d say an E6600.
for the price of the AMD 64 X2 6000+, you can get a C2D E6600. BTW, dont buy a prebuilt computer for gaming
Custom Built PCs aren%26#39;t equal to Pre-Built. Take your lack of intelligence elsewhere.
