will i see a big difference?

im going to get an 8800 gts 320mb soon. will i see a huge leap in performance in games such as counter strike and bf2, compared to my current gpu ( 7300 se)? i plan to run them at 1280 x 1024. here is my specs:1gb of pc2-5300 ram160gb hddintel pentium d820 @2.8ghznvidia 7300 se19inch monitorcorsair hx520 psu help appreciated.will i see a big difference?

Yes, you should see a noticeable increase in performance, but I suggest you upgrade that, too.

If your Mobo supports the Pentium D, it most likely will support the Core 2 duo. Get an E6420 and OC it to 3.0 Ghz. Then, you will see a HUGE performance jump
