yea my disk thingy wont read disks anymore..... i was going to play stalker but it dont read it??? it spins and stuff.same with any audio cd. its just not reading them...can anyone help me?disk drive sont read disks!! help
Everytime that happened to me it usually meant that the disc drive didn%26#39;t work anymore and that I%26#39;d have to go out and buy a new one. :(disk drive sont read disks!! help
Do you see it in your computer? If not does your bios see it? If the answer to seeing it in your bios is yes and not in your computer its probably a software conflict I had that happen before. Also make sure your ide cable didnt come loose.
well i dunno how to put a new one in....and im not going to bother.......i think i just put this lappy up for sale on ebay.its a dang nice computer just the damn disk thing wont work right.......im still pretty sure i can get some good money for it.

when you boot your copmuter theres usually something that says ''hit F8 to go into setup'', the actually key you hit will vary but thats how you get into BIOS
