WOW. Dust actually makes a huge difference.

I never realised what a difference dust could make to the temperature of the PC. When i first got my PC the GPU temp would be about 53C, but it steadily increased over the months to about 60C.So i opened up the case, got rid of a load of the dust and the temp is back to normal.  WOW. Dust actually makes a huge difference.
Yes thats true Dust make them runs slowerWOW. Dust actually makes a huge difference.
Yeah, particularly if it gets trapped in your CPU heatsink. I had a 10+ deg change one time after I blew out a bunch of dust that had become caked in my heatsink.
Lol, my P4 went from constant 60s to low 40s after I cleaned the HSF out of dust :P  Dust makes a HUGE difference.
So does case cooling, went from a pentium d at 50C idle with a single 80mm case fan and a 120mm cpu cooler to just 31C idle with 2 120mm case fans and an 80mm case fan...
I use dust filters at every air intake, it reduces dust inside the case quite a lot. Cleaning is also 10x easier as I only need to clean the filters once a month or so. A can of compressed air is also gold for those pesky spots inside the case.
