How do i get the best picture on my 22inch TFT LCD display??

Hey people I have just bought a computer with a wicked 22 inch moniter but sometimes I get the impression that the picture quality could be a little better. The max resolutions i can run it at is 1680x1050. The windows vista media center tells me the resolutions could be better but is there a way it can automatically find the best resolutions?? Any help would be appreciated:)How do i get the best picture on my 22inch TFT LCD display??

you could have a go chaning the colours around, as well as things like gama and sharpness.

1680x1050 is the max resolutions for it but on the windows media center it has the resolutions down as 1024x748. Would this mean the desktop resolutions would be the same and in general if i was playing games?? Would you recommend that i change my current resolutions setting to the highest resolutions(1680x1050)??

So basically the native resolution is the resolution that is already established with the moniter and probably does not need changing. Thanks for all the help :)
make sure you install the drivers for that monitor. Trust me, i didnt have the drivers installed for mine at first and when i installed them, i noticed the image quality was better.
i dont think i need to install drivers on my computer because for a start the moniter doesnt come with a cd but just a cd that tells you about the moniter. I have maxed out the resolutions and my icons are much smaller but the picture quality seems to have increased. Thanks for the advice everybody:)
