For some odd reson I cant seem to find the min requirements of Power Supply Watts for this card. Can anyone tell me what it is? The card name is below.Full Card Name- XFX PVT86JUAF3 GeForce 8500GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Video CardPSU for this card, where?
I don;t even have to look that up. Honestly, just get a 450-500 watt psu. That will be plenty for that current system and future upgrades!!!!PSU for this card, where?
I don%26#39;t think that card need a good PSU.350W PSU enough for that card
Im low on cash right now and cant just get a new PSU then a new card. Thats why im trying to find one that fits my PSU. But i cant find the min PSU watts for the card above, is this card bad or something, I havent herd great things about it.PS, i got 300 watt psu.
You don%26#39;t need to upgrade your PSU.8500GT isn%26#39;t a good card. Atleast gofor a 8600GT
here is a good PSU. iam also getting this one, low on cash to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103012also i dont recommend that 8500GT, try this cardhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130062
yea i know about that card. I want it but its a min of 350watts psu. I have 300 watts!
you dont want to skimp on your PSU. I learned that the hard way. If you dont mind spending 55 dollars, I found a really powerful PSU from E-Power. 550 watts, 40 amps on the 12V railhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817101021
yea right now im not sure about getting a new PSU, really short right now. SO basicly I should take the risk with the 7600GT because of the 50watts diffrence then? Should i stick with the 8500GT and if so how well do ya think it will run BF2?
the 8500GT is weaker then the 7600GT, the 7600GT can nearly max BF 2
8500gt is a low end card so you shouldn%26#39;t need to upgrade your PSU

I have a 305W PSU, runs a 8600GT just fine, i got 3 HD plugged in my PC too.
