Ok, so I%26#39;m going to college soon and I%26#39;m looking for a laptop to take with me.I%26#39;m looking for a high end laptop - probably around 2500 - 3000 dollars - but I%26#39;m not gonna be using it for gaming, I just want a good laptop that%26#39;s not gonna become obsolete a few months later. Do you have any suggestions on what to get.I%26#39;m probably gonna need around 3+ hours of battery life and preferably a screen size of 15.4 inches. Also, I dont like Dells. Help on choosing a Laptop please!!

whats wrong with dells, i%26#39;ve bought about 9 dells in the past 4 years for me and for my family, all of them are still running strong with no problem whats so ever,, well except i send back the battery because of the sony recall. since you are not gonna game, 1gb ram is all you need, and the integrated graphic card is fine. besides considering you don%26#39;t game, any 600-700ish Dell would not turn obsolete for couple of years.
