ok, i have to do this project for school and i need to record sound from my microphone plz help!  and i needto find where u can really use it for stuff, not for testingtyrecord mic sound
is your microphone plugged into the microphone jack on your sound card? if it is make sure you turn your mic in volume up in the volume controlrecord mic sound

If it works and stuff, windows movie maker (TRASH) has a recording option for your microphone. You can also get a sound recorder like free hi recording for mics and its free up to 96 hz anything past that u gota buy, but 96 hz is  high quality for mics.

u need to have it as a file to put it in a movie!
