windows defender is good, ive read sites on google that they say its bad?
I%26#39;m not too big of a fan of vista but thats good news. I really hate how svc host is using 20% of my qx6700 and it is always idling about 30-70% and starts locking up every other second, I much rather have windows xp x64 I need the 4 gigs of ram though, so  a lil pain for the 4 gigs of ram. Right now my cpu is 80% folding @ home 25% opera 14%, task mgr 14%, fraps 13% (idle) explore 7% lcd mon (g15) 7%, realplayer (4%) and  this is on a qx6700 why oh why...

I%26#39;m running it on XP.

Windows Defender is a horrible anti-spyware, almost as bad as Live OneCare.
I disagree....
I disagree....
Lol It doesn't detect anything, just like OneCare. And it hogs system resources.
It is automatic. But it also recommands you to scan it maually regularly. Anyway, you have Ultimate. Use PC backup. This is one of the most important Ultimate feature for me, don%26#39;t waste it. It is like 50~70 bucks if you buy it elsewhere, and this is build-in in Ultimate.

If you back it up after activation, it won%26#39;t ask you after you recover. I am 100% positive because I already tried it out. Make sure you press the ''Back Up computer'' button, not the ''Back Up files''. Make sure you print the Resore Computer instructions. There are two ways to do it, but you can only use one of them based on your Ultimate version. I was a bit confused by it when I did it.
