2GB or 3GB of ram for Macbook Pro?

Hey am about to undertake a university degree, majoring in media production. To help me with this I%26#39;m planning on purchasing a MacBook Pro. However i am a struggling student and money isnt free to toss around willy-nilly. So my question is would it be better for me to go for the 2Gb ram model or upgrade to 3GB, knowing that i will be mostly using it for audio and video editing. Macbook pro specs are as follows:
  • 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4MB L2 cache
  • 1440 x 900 pixels
  • 2GB memory Option: Up to 3GB
  • 200GB hard drive1
  • 6x double-layer SuperDrive
  • ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics with 256MB SDRAM

If you want lighting fast speed all time. Get three gigs. If you want to run programs lighting fast buy three gigs. Two gigs are fine but three gives you that extra boost it%26#39;s worth it everything runs perfectly smooth with my 4 gigs of ram.2GB or 3GB of ram for Macbook Pro?
yeh i suspected 3GB might be the way to go,  particularly when creating highly layered audio tracks and what not. Plus i guess it will help future proof it a bit, cuz it has to last my whole degree. Its just that im poor and Macbooks are expensive :(
