I know the X2900XTX will use 240w of frekin power from the psu lol thats alot!any more news on the R600 release?
Yeah, buy an 8800 =P But seriously, I haven%26#39;t heard too much else other than all the crap that%26#39;s been floating around this board and a few tech sites.

Slot = 75w
2x6pin = 150w
Total = 225wOnly 225w at max under a full load at stock, we will have to see how many apps/games will come close to stressing this/needing all this power.Now overclocking the HD2900xt:
Slot = 75w
6pin = 75w
8pin = 100w
Total = 250w The stock cooler, according to AMD, can only dissipate up to 240w.Currently there is no XTX, so I don%26#39;t know why you brought it up...
