nVidia or AMD ? the real discussion.

This thread is quite a simple idea, it works like this:If you think nvidia are the best: - 2 reasons why nvidia are best - 2 reasons why AMD are worstIf you think AMD/ATI are the best: - 2 reason why AMD are best - 2 reasons why nvidia are worstFeel free to add coments but dont post unless you give your reasons. (if you cant think of 2 reasons then give 1)I hope you enjoy this discussion :DnVidia or AMD ? the real discussion.
i got AMD 5200 X2.. just cuz i wanted to give AMD a go..  supposedly intel is better for OC%26#39;n nVidia or AMD ? the real discussion.
i got AMD 5200 X2.. just cuz i wanted to give AMD a go..  supposedly intel is better for OC%26#39;n
i said give reason. LOL.Its just that i know there will be a load of spammers just going '' oo R600, R600'' or '' oo 8800, 8800''

i like nvidia because they are the veterans of GPU makers where as ATI/AMD is still new. So i feel better with nvidia. second reason is that ATI always gets their asses kicked by nvidia(except for the 9800 era)

yeh topic was badly titled and that, could have been presented better, would be less confusing

Well, the title does make sense, as ATi are now a division of AMD.
Well, the title does make sense, as ATi are now a division of AMD.
Yes I know that but ATI stll exist with AMD. In that case he should change the title to nVidia or ATI/AMD.nVidia or AMD means GPUs or Processors
he should change the title to ''what should the title be?''
Intel is better as it runs considerably coolerIntel is better as it runs significantly fasterIntel has more bang for the buckIntel has a higher roof of overclockingIntel is about to switch to 45nm chips and also will have a double quad with 8 coresNvidia has better driver support (so ive heard)its really a question of which ice cream flavor do you like.....video cards a preference but nvidia has the lead atm...as far as ati is concerned, there is news that the x2900 is performing underpar but there is no efficient data to back up that claim
im not a fanboy of anything, i just go for the best, i think the reason why Nvidia have more fans it because nvidia have moe options of GPU imo, they tend to have products for the non Pc gamer would like imo
I think neither of them remain constantly the best, Currently however I have noticed that all the support forum I go to are jam packed and overflowing with geforce 8 complaints. I was thinking of getting a 8800 but after reading some complaints i might wait for ati.

ATI%26#39;s been around since 1985, and nVidia%26#39;s from 1994ish.

(Not just my problems, only really had one, but friends/family/colleges problems that I had to solve.) Plus, they ramp up the price of a product that shouldn%26#39;t be so expensive.
nVidia because of the 8800 and Green > Red =P

And the card still outperformed the 7900 series, or are you going to argue against that point?
