AMD's new 8 core processor

Is this amd%26#39;s new retaliation against Intel v8 processor? idk. But I was reading the article found over at tomshardwareguide.com and wow. I mean, unfortunately amd did not release any physical benchmark numbers, but it looks very promising. What are your thoughts on this new technology from AMD? Also, amd is planning on designing a all-in-one gpu and cpu hybrid card/chip!! Dang, could this could be the boost amd has been looking for...AMD's new 8 core processor
actually Intel%26#39;s V8 is their retaliation to AMD%26#39;s Quad FX, which is out btw..... so whatever they are doing now is their second venture in that area of dual-quad computing.AMD's new 8 core processor
supposedly intel and amds new architecture are supposed to be about 40% faster than core 2 duo.  Being it that intel will be moving its memory controller onto the cpu its probably gonna give intel the edge but its really too early to determine.  Intel AND amd (i think amd) are moving to 45nm chips which will open the door to better performance.  Im speculating at the moment because its still to early but I have a feeling intels gonna take the edge...i could be wrong though

Intel always usually are on the cutting edge in terms of fabrication technology, but performance is a see-saw between Chipzilla and the Green Team.
Intel%26#39;s version of QuadFX is code named Skulltrail.
And if they are still planning on using a FSB for 8 cores they will still be extremely bandwidth limited.
