I now hate Windows VIsta

HiI have had Vista Ultimate 32bit for quite a while now. First of all I would like to say that I make sure my computer is clean and has no spyware or viruses and I never install any software that I no I won%26#39;t need so generally my pc is well kept. Maybe I am wrong and Vista is actually not doing anything wrong but I installed Spiderman 3 and I played it, It had some lag on it even though I have a Dual core processor 2GB RAM and a 8800GTX. ALso the game just randomly jams and comes up with %26#39;Spiderman 3 has stopped responding and Windows is checking for a solution%26#39;. I installed the very latest Nvidia drivers but I still get random driver crashes where the screen resets and any application such as Fusion which I use to edit videos or any game will then crash, despite the drivers notes saying that this type of problem has been reslolved. I have re-installed Spiderman 3 but it still happens, can anyone help?Oh yeah, Aero was working fine but now I cannot enable it
ThanksI now hate Windows VIsta
I looked at this tutorial http://apcmag.com/5485/dualbooting_vista_and_xp so I can also install XP without removing Vista. It boots into the XP DVD fine but when I try to boot in I get a Blue SCreen of death. How can I stop that happening?I now hate Windows VIsta
You are hating for Vista because of Spider Man 3?If you want to play games very well install Windows XP Best way to use both First install XP %26 then Vista
Well, I have a lot of other issues with Vista but it was because of this game that I decided to post here about it.Like I said I tried this http://apcmag.com/5485/dualbooting_vista_and_xp but I can not boot into XP. What can I do?
Spiderman isn%26#39;t worth it. Despite the occasional problems I have, I wouldn%26#39;t trade Vista for the world....oh wait, yes I would ;) But not XP =P
YEs, It may not be the greatest game but Adobe Premier Pro also does not work and I need that for editing. The CS3 won%26#39;t be out for a few months and I am not un-installing Vista, I will be Dual booting
I thought CS3 was already out =/
The Beta is and that also doesn%26#39;t work with my copy of Vista

TO do that I would have to format and then install XP then Vista. I am not wanting to erase all my data.
If you want to game, don%26#39;t use Vista. My friend made the mistake of buying it and now all his games lag when before he could max out all the settings and it ran perfectly. Half the time he has to switch back to XP because something wont install on Vista. Vista is a huge waste of money right now.

(Also dev laziness)
For your problems with AERO not working, it needs a program called dwm.exe to be running for it to work, I believe. Check it's running in task manager, under processes, and if not just enable it through a start menu search. Whether that will work I don't know, I've never tried.
OkSo is there absolutely no way for me to install Windows XP on my spare empty partition without un installing Vista?
I used the following method when I couldn't get Windows and Linux to dual boot properly, so it just might work for you.

If you can choose which partition to install the XP boot manager on during installation of XP, you could try installing the boot loader on the same partition XP is on, as opposed to the 'active partition' (the partition it's set to look in for boot settings). You won't be able to use XP just yet, so boot up into Vista as normal, download EasyBCD, and use it to add XP to Vista's boot menu by choosing XP's partition and adding it to the list.

That's the very same solution I used when Linux was causing me trouble, installing GRUB (a Linux boot loader) was over-writing the current one, and it restarted the PC when I selected Windows, so I just used that method to add a Linux entry to Vista's boot menu instead of getting Windows to work from Linux's boot menu.

However, XP is a different operating system, so it'd be ideal to wait for someone with far greater knowledge of such matters to add anything first, such as whether it will cause any side effects. And if you can't choose where to isntall the boot loader in the XP setup there's no point trying. Finally, be very careful using EasyBCD in Vista.
