The leanest DVD player that you know of

I%26#39;m trying to get an old PII box to play DVDs for a little kid. So far, with WMP10, WMP Classic, PowerDVD 4.0 and 5.0, I%26#39;m getting some pretty jerky video. P-DVD 4.0 is pretty good; many discs play OK. However high bitrate disks still give it hell.Yet I remember back in 1998, this old box could play DVDs fine, so I know that it has the capability. I just need a very lean, free DVD/media player. Suggestions?The leanest DVD player that you know of

Try Media Player Classic

Already did, and it was worse than WMP 10. Far worse, actually.
Definately VLC media player try it.
