It%26#39;s fair..., but even if you don%26#39;t change anything else, please for the good of your wallet, Don%26#39;t get the 8800 Ultra. It%26#39;s really a waste of  money. If you don%26#39;t believe me, just ask anyone else. Other than that, I would up the RAM to 2GB. This is Alienware, isn%26#39;t it? is this a good price for this computer

The only thing I would suggest is that you go with 2gigs of RAM. The prices have dropped in the past couple of weeks and you would be wise to take advantage. Like this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145034You may not need it for games, but Vista will thank you for it. EDIT:  I just priced some stuff out at Newegg and got everything you got minus a case and a monitor and it was $1789.  Where did you buy this?
8800 Ultra is waste of money.I think 8800GTS enough to play games.if you are thinking its not enough gofor 8800GTX not for 8800ultra.The price is too high I think
ok thank u soo more ram n go with with the regular 8800
yes it is alienware
the 8800GTX will do great, as will the RAM. The only thing that the Ultra does well is keep power usage comparable to the GTX, while being clocked higher. With that rig, you will be very satisfied...Hopefully
ok thank u im sure i will
Yeah. Will Alienware overclock your E6400? Or whoever is building this?
i kno making it urself would be cheaper would it be alot cheaper or just a little

to me that looks like a giant rip off.

ps why a ultra when you only got 1 gig of ram?
Yeah yeah, but if you want to get a prebuilt, get from a good company. If you%26#39;re not totally computer savvy and want a good computer, Maingear has been winning awards left and right for their customer satisfaction. They set the standard for customer service and satisfaction. If you%26#39;re going to build a high end rig, it would be wise to check their rigs out to compare it to whoever OEM%26#39;s this computer is from.

yes they would should i have them do that
o wow that is alot cheaper i proably make it then thanks
ok then. Just don%26#39;t mess up.
o ok ill do that thanks for all the help
Looks good.......*looks at price tag* :o
BTW, that brings the price up to at least $2000 w/o tax and s/h if you include a monitor and case (which is necessary)
im checking out maingear seem good ill go with them thank u very much :D
